So today I had my first test drive of a BRZ, took about an hour to get to the dealership, unfortunately I wasn't too familiar with the area so couldn't get the best out of it for fear or damaging it however I did get a quick once round the block with the salesman who knew how to handle it and I was surprised at how well it held the road, it's also more comfortable than my current car.
Handling was superb even when not pushing it, steering was very responsive, not quite sure how I feel about the intake noise being pumped into the cabin, seems a bit weird, though probably could get used to it
Biggest downside to the one I drive is that it was automatic so wasn't as quick as I was expecting and the gear changes we're a big sluggish.
the main thing I got from this was, I WANT ONE NAOW!!! :D
(pic of the exact BRZ I drove)

How much do these bad boys weigh again? They are an excellent looking sports car

If you get one and you can't get over the engine noise resonator, deleting it is easy. It's just a tube.

yeah it's something I've looked into already, apparently it can be blocked up with the 12v plug

Did you put it in sport mode?
It'll only shift fast when you push it.

The sound tube is really easy to block. You can take the 12v plug from the extra outlet inside the glove box to block the tube in the passenger footwell, or use a foam ear plug.

If your picture is the car you drove, right hand drive, then it would be in the driver side.
